Violations include restrictions on education, work, and free movement; increased child and forced marriages; and targeted harassment, detention, and torture of women protestors. Based on interviews with 90 Afghan women and girls across 20 provinces, this report highlights the devastating impact of these draconian policies, urging urgent international action to pressure the Taliban for major reforms.

Featuring changemakers like Heela Yoon, Zaynab Ali Abdi, and Dr Comfort Ero, it explores themes of human rights, peace, and justice, sharing lessons from those on the frontlines of today’s challenges.

This advocacy brief summarises key findings from GNWP's global research on sexual slavery, supported by KOICA, spanning historical and contemporary cases from World War II to recent conflicts in Uganda and Iraq. Incorporating voices of survivors, activists, and policymakers, the research aims to strengthen the Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) Agenda and survivor-centered approaches to prevention, accountability, and recovery.

This report, co-created as part of the Women PeaceMakers Fellowship (2021-2022), explores how intergenerational strategies and partnerships among women and women’s organizations contribute to building lasting peace. Featuring global analyses and case studies, it highlights the importance of recognizing, supporting, and advancing these efforts at national and international levels. Co-authored by Heela Yoon, the report draws on the lived experiences of women peacebuilders and insights from experts in the Women, Peace and Security and Youth, Peace and Security fields.

This Advocacy Paper by the Beijing+25 WPS-YPS Action Coalition highlights key messages and recommendations for the effective implementation of the Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) and Youth, Peace, and Security (YPS) agendas. Developed in alignment with the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action, it reflects voices from conflict-affected communities and serves as a lobbying tool for the Beijing+25/Generation Equality Forum and the anniversaries of UNSCRs 1325 and 2250.
